"I don't know what I may seem to the world, but as to myself, I seem to have been only like a boy playing on the sea shore and diverting myself in now and then finding a smoother pebble or prettier shell than ordinary, whilst the great ocean of truth lay all undiscovered before me". Sir Isaac Newton
The New York Stationary booth is done and we await the opening day Sunday May 15th. There are so many AMAZING booth spaces to see and so many wonderful new product ideas. Simply put... it is a plethora of information. Hopefully I will get the opportunity to take pictures and share all the wonderful new things I find. Stephanie
So what happened to May Day??? No sooner had I planned my day and the clouds came in and it began to rain. I could surely handle the rain but hey... its 47 degrees outside and its the first of May. What is up with that? Despite the bad weather I finished my paper baskets and love the way they turned out. I wasn't able to get the flowers for them as they were all wet but they do make lovely nests. I even added a paper feather to one as an accent.
The rain has FINALLY stopped and the sun is out. What a perfect May Day to make paper baskets and gather flowers. I think I will make a paper basket sheet today just for the occassion. If you would like a FREE copy so you can make one for yourself please send me an email. Its time to go out and create... I will post the completed basket later this evening.
